Susan B. Anthony

Susan B. Anthony

Susan B. Anthony had the biggest effect on women’s rights than
any other person in the world. Not only did she risk her whole
career which practically was fighting for their rights, but she
proved that she didn’t care about consequences. When Judge
Ward Hunt convinced the jury to convict her in court, she was told
to pay a fine, but she refused to. I believe that women's rights
would not be the same without Susan B. Anthony, she changed
women's rights forever. Suffrage wouldn't have been gained if it
wasn't for her.
Born in Adams, Massachusetts in 1820, Susan learned how to read at
the age of three. Her father Daniel was very strict and didn't
believe in letting his children play around all day and amuse themselves.
Because of his beliefs, Susan started to become oppinionated early,
and in her teen years she would attend some women's conventions.

She attended the first women's rights convention in Seneca Falls, New
York.
